About you and the role of a Bus Driver
You are applying for the role of Bus Driver for Go-Ahead London. Applying for this position could be the start of a journey within an industry that grows its business by encouraging and developing those who see this as a career opportunity.
Our bus driving vacancies are full-time, part-time days and permanent positions. As buses run 7 days a week, 364 days a year, your work pattern will reflect that. You will be required to work the full range of shifts which will include early mornings, late finishes, working weekends and public holidays. This is also the case when you are in training.
This is a customer facing role where you will be expected to answer customer queries, make announcements over the public address system fitted to our vehicles and deal with a variety of situations as part of your day-to-day role. It is therefore essential that our drivers can communicate effectively and deal with people in a tactful, confident, and professional manner.
As a current PCV (Category D) licence holder, we can offer an extremely competitive package, see below.
